Indonesia Economic Outlook (IEO) is an annual national-scale economic outlook event under Kanopi FEB Ul. Our series of events focuses on providing economic evaluations for the current year and policy recommendations for the following year.

MAIN PROGRAMS

IEO COMPETITION
IEO Competition aims to provide a unique policy making experience for university students interested in the government and public policy sector.
IEO FORUM
The forum will be hosted in a panel discussion format. Panelists will be invited from various sectors to provide their perspectives on the issue being discussed.
IEO SEMINAR
Speakers of this session will deliver solo presentations based on lEO’s three sectors: fiscal, real, and monetary, each followed by a question-and-answer session.

OUTLOOK FEST
Outlook Fest is a new pre-event introduced at IEO 2026. This event will feature a talk show revolving around a relevant economic topic encircling the current and recommended public policies, along with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD).

IEO WORKSHOP
IEO Workshop serves as the pre-event online competition for IEO, aiming to boost exposure for the lEO Competition. IEO Workshop features training facilitated by practitioners and professionals in the realm of public policy, catering to both participants and non-participants.

IEO FORUM
The IEO Forum will discuss the Indonesian economy in an open discussion format (forum discussion) between several speakers and a moderator who will guide the discussion, revolving around a theme exploring a relevant issue in Indonesia's economic landscape.

CHEERIEO
CheerIEO is an event designed to welcome and connect the IEO Competition finalists through engaging networking sessions and fun games. This event also features technical meeting to provide detailed information regarding IEO competition.

IEO NATIONAL SEMINAR
The IEO ‘26 National Seminar is part of a series of IEO ‘26 core events that will focus on recapping the Indonesian economy in the running year (2025) as well as sharing recommendations and outlooks of the Indonesian economy in the following year (2026) and discuss Indonesia’s economy in more detail through three subsectors: real, monetary, and fiscal; which will be presented by speakers who specialize in each subsector.

AWARDING CEREMONY
The Award Ceremony marks the official closing events of the main series of IEO '26 as a form of appreciation and final tribute to all participants. This event includes special performances and the announcement of the winners of the IEO Competition 2026.
